The Rolling Dough is a collaboration of three friends. Michele O'Connor, a self proclaimed foodie who has a passion for fresh and healthy food. As a New Haven, Connecticut native she grew up eating the famous Frank Pepe's Pizza and credits them as part of her inspiration. Patrick Santo-Donato a food connoisseur and pizzaiolo who received his training in Italy. Alex Gonzalez, owner of Little Mia's II of Point Pleasant, NJ who has years of pizza and restaurant experience.
Together we have joined to create The Rolling Dough - Mobile Wood Fired Pizza Oven. We all believe things happen for a reason and feel our paths were meant to cross to create a fun business that would bring amusement, pleasure and enjoyment to our community.
With our mobile wood fired ovens, customers benefit by leaving the cooking to The Rolling Dough and the fun to them and their guests. We will bring one of our three (or all three depending on the size of your party) Italian Forno Bravo wood fired ovens onsite to homes, businesses, venues or any other desired location of your choice.
At The Rolling Dough we use fresh local ingredients, authentic Italian Caputo "00" flour for dough and homemade tomato sauce with 100% crushed San Marzano tomatoes. We hand toss the pizzas while our customers get to watch as their pizza is prepared and slide into our 900 degree wood fired oven and cooked to perfection in just 2-3 minutes. A perfect blend of taste and entertainment.
